Sharp looking prior Caterpillar service truck that is optioned out nicely and is ready to work. With the Stellar 12621 30' crane, Enpak power unit w/ 60CFM air compressor, waste oil tank, (3) CTECH tool drawers this truck has all of the equipment you need to get right to making money. This truck has been gone through, checked over, serviced up and is ready to work. The Paccar PX-7 6.7L 300hp engine starts up and sounds great. The engine starts right up and has no major leaks or active engine codes present. The truck has an Allison 2500RDS-P 6 speed automatic transmission that shifts properly and as it should. It has an 11' Stellar aluminum utility body and is equipped with a Stellar 12621 12000lb hydraulic crane with a 21' reach. The crane is in great working condition and functions 100%. The crane is powered solely by the Enpak unit that runs on a small Kubota diesel engine. The truck engine DOES NOT need to be running to operate the crane keeping the hours off your main engine. The crane has a factory Stellar CDT proportional wireless remote which works as it should. It has two hydraulic outriggers and the curb side extends. There is a waste oil tank installed between the cab and utility bed with a hose reel mounted on the passenger side atop the utility boxes. There is a power inverter installed in the D1 compartment but it is untested. The utility box is in overall nice condition and all doors open/close/lock/latch properly. The bed is showing some rust in some areas, light surface rust and bubbling present in a few of the box floors and underneath. No major structural rust was found. All (3) CTECH tool drawers are in great condition - very high quality drawer packs. This truck is in overall good condition and shows very well. Previous paintwork is showing on the truck but it shows great. We painted the rear work station and touched up a few areas throughout the truck due to light rust/wear. All paintwork and bodywork shows nicely. This is a very nice, clean and presentable truck. The interior is in good condition and shows average wear for the mileage. The drivers seat has some wear showing. The frame/underside of the truck is in good condition and showing light surface rust. The truck has good tires all the way around with deep tread remaining. All emissions are in tact and functioning correctly. This will make someone a great service truck with a lot of capability. Mechanically this truck is 100% and ready to go. The list he goes down is derived from a DOT inspection (which we have added onto over the years as the DOT doesn't cover everything). The inspector will then take the truck on a 15-20 minute test drive to note any deficiencies found in a test drive (as if they were the customer). From there he writes all notes and areas of concern down and it then goes into our mechanical shop. Our mechanical shop spends as much time as they need to make the correct and necessary repairs to the truck. This can take days, weeks, or even months depending on parts availability. We try to use all OEM factory parts, unless it is not available to do so. Our average repair bill in our shop ranges from $4,000 and have been as high as $25,000+. Our team consists of 8 full time mechanics, 3 person buying team and a full detail crew so every truck we retail has had many eyes, opinions, and hours spent on it.
